Lady Captain's day

Lady Captain’s Day was postponed before the first shot was played as the greens & fairways were suffering from overnight rain. The rain continued all day.
The day was saved by Stuart, Maimie & the catering team who served a delicious afternoon tea to 46 ladies amid much chatter & laughter. David Muir drew the winning ticket for a ‘’Round of Golf for 4 at Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club’’. Joy Monteith was the lucky winner. This raised over £200 for the Golf Club Fabric Fund ably run by vice Captain, Jane McDonald.
A new date of 4th September for the Lady Captain’s prizes with a sign-up sheet on the board by mid-August.

West Renfrewshire Evening League result

The Kilmacolm ladies WREL (west Renfrewshire evening league) team played Gleddoch on Wednesday night. It was a great tie, with the result coming down to the last hole of the last match. Unfortunately Kilmacolm didn't manage to win with the final score being 2.5 to 3.5. Everyone played really well and the match was played in excellent spirit. A good time was had by all. Next match in 2 weeks time.
