If you have still to enjoy our course, it is considered one of the best moorland courses inScotlandand is ranked in the top 100 courses overall in the country. With its gorse, heather and tree lined fairways, it provides enjoyment and a challenge to all standards of golfers. Our excellent practice facilities are the envy of many clubs in the area, with a full range practice ground and short game area, as well as practice greens.
Our Gents and Ladies sections, in addition to the many competitions run throughout the year, have a thriving social golf scene as well to cater for those members who prefer less “competitive” events. We also can lay claim to one of the most active Junior sections in the locality, and in addition to providing the juniors with competitive and social golf, coaching is also provided during the year by our resident PGA Professional Iain Nicholson and his Assistant PGA Professional Mike Paterson.
But there is more to a Golf Club than just the course and golf, however desirable that is at Kilmacolm. Our Clubhouse, which has undergone a major refurbishment in the last few years, provides an excellent venue for our many social events, as well as providing a relaxing atmosphere for a meal, snack or drink in our comfortable lounges and dining room. Our resident Chef, Marjory Mann and her team provide a full range of catering.
Membership opportunities are available across all category of membership, with discounted rates in force for under 30’s. Our subscription rates are amongst the most competitive in the area, which provides excellent value for this highly rated course.
